Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for a long time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea, who began appearing as a part-time actress in Irish or British television programs in 2009, started her career as an stand-up comic in 2011. As early as 2012 she was on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel programs. In 2016 through 2017, she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. The only ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. She uses the surnamed Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death to death until she was 13 years old. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea, along with her younger sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was fascinated by racing meetings and horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her true passion was doing and not racing.
