Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best well-known for Birdman. The versatile actor is equally proficient in both comedy and drama. Alongside the roles of a romantic, he has also was a part of action films and thrillers. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in both acting and performing. Later, as an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. Although his stand-up show was not successful it helped in the development of his acting. In order to be successful as a comedian and performer, he was hired working as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. It was while working there when he realized it was his dream to be in front of the camera. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land an appearance on television. An actor with natural talent, he gained popularity quickly on television. He began the film industry with high hopes and achieved a great deal of recognition with his comedic roles. Additional recognition was received by his portrayal of Batman's famous character as Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up acting as an actor and started producing and directing films. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman garnered him many awards and nods.
