Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several TV dramas. The audience was impressed by her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of significant national and international productions. Among others, these projects comprise British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She also served part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
